 Have a good idea what your references will say.
 Be sure references know why you left or are leaving your old
job and what specific positions you are pursuing.
 Do not include references in your résumé.
 Have your reference list with you when you interview in case
you need it.
 Remember to thank those who have agreed to be references.
Especially communicate your thanks to them in writing after
you get the job.
