16. Click on cell H17 and format this cell to Numbers with a decimal placement of 5.
This will cause the numbers to match those in Table 1 of Chapter 9.

17. Click on cell H17 to select it and then click inside the formula bar to enter
this formula: =D11*1000 and press the Enter key of the keyboard. The * character
tells the computer to multiply and is found above the 8 key on your keyboard; you
press down and hold the shift key and then tap the 8 key to get the *. In this cell the
computer is reporting the Interest Rate Factor: IRF. When you press the Enter key
the computer will perform the calculation and display the IRF in Table 9-1 of
Chapter 9. The value will is 29.11437.
